Formo Renovations (“we”, “us”) is a renovation company based in Victoria, British Columbia. This page explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and how we handle it. We only collect information you choose to give us, or that is created when you use the site:
- Contact forms — name, email, phone number, project location, services of interest, budget range, preferred start date, and your message.
- Reviews — name, location, service type, rating, and review text. Reviews are moderated before they appear on the site.
- Usage data — pages visited and general traffic, via Google Analytics. This does not include your form contents.
2. How we use it
We use this information to:
- Respond to estimate requests and questions
- Prepare quotes and schedule on-site consultations
- Publish approved client reviews
- Improve the website and understand which pages are useful
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
3. Who we share it with
Form submissions are emailed to our team. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, content is managed in Sanity, and analytics are provided by Google. These providers process data only as needed to run the service. We may disclose information if required by law.
4. Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics (measurement ID G-HPTRQ67KC8) to see aggregated site usage. Google may set cookies in your browser. You can block cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.
5. How long we keep it
Inquiry details are kept as long as needed to handle your project and for reasonable business records. Unpublished or rejected reviews can be deleted on request. Analytics data is retained according to Google’s settings.
6. Your choices
You can ask us to:
- See the personal information we hold about you
- Correct or update it
- Delete it, where we no longer need it for a project or legal record
- Remove a published review
